Daily Inspiration

“Herod the tetrarch heard about all that was happening, and he was greatly perplexed because some were saying, “John has been raised from the dead”; others were saying, “Elijah has appeared”; still others, “One of the ancient prophets has arisen.” But Herod said, “John I beheaded. Who then is this about whom I hear such things?” And he kept trying to see him.” —Luke 9:7-9

Political leaders bend to the people’s will. A godless people allow themselves to be governed by godless leaders. This is why the Christian must spread the Word for all the world to hear. A truly Christian nation will expel all works of the enemy from its culture and framework. And in the wake of the vast majority, political leaders will see Christ in the people they govern.

Lord God, may you send the Holy Spirit down upon me, and may His light shine through me. I offer myself to you this and every day; do with me what you will. I cannot wait to see what we will do together. Amen
