Jesus said to him in reply, “Simon, I have something to say to you.” “Tell me, teacher,” he said. “Two people were in debt to a certain creditor; one owed five hundred days’ wages and the other owed fifty. Since they were unable to repay the debt, he forgave it for both. Which of them will love him more?” Simon said in reply, “The one, I suppose, whose larger debt was forgiven.” He said to him, “You have judged rightly.”—Luke 7:40-43
Friends. Please watch the video at this LINK. Turn the sound up. I believe this priest experienced what I wrote about so many years ago. My experience at the Cross in the Woods and this priest’s experience happened on the Feast of the Triumph of the Cross. What I put into words, we are blessed to see with our eyes in this video. But before you go, for context, please read this excerpt from my second book:
“The true Body of Christ was suspended above the altar in a chalice and host. They were elevated as the priest lifts them at Mass and says, “Behold the Lamb of God, behold him who takes away the sins of the world. Blessed are those called to receive the supper of the Lamb.”
The faithful congregation responds in unison, “Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word, and my soul shall be healed.”
I was weeping uncontrollably as a stream of tears poured from my eyes and obstructed my view. There lived within me immense remorse and sorrow, much like what I experienced in that place of eternal misery inside the Red Room.
Embedded within that sorrow was a love unlike any other on Earth. It reminded me of the joy and peace I felt in the Presence of the Holy Spirit. I could hear a mournful wailing issuing from my mouth, yet I never paused to breathe. The sorrowful cry continued uninterrupted…A few feet before us stood a woman in a white dress covered with a deep blue robe. I knew her to be the Blessed Mother, Mary. Her form was obscured of fine detail due to my excessive tears, and her body appeared to shimmer as if heat waves separated us. This effect may have been due to seeing her through my flowing tears, or it may have been due to how her form was presented to me. I could see her in solid form, yet somehow, I could still see the presence of our Lord in the Eucharist through her.
Saint Hildegard von Bingen, pray for us.
Jesus, I trust in you.
