Holy Bible, compass, and crucifix on a Europe map spread over a rustic wooden table

Jesus said to Nicodemus: “No one has gone up to heaven except the one who has come down from heaven, the Son of Man. And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.” For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him.”John 3:13-17

Today marks the third anniversary of the spiritual experiences I had, which led me to write a second book, “The Triumph of the Cross”. Enjoy this tiny excerpt.

I understood for us to be washed in the Blood of Christ, He feels the horrendous spiritual pain I was experiencing.

I finally realized that while I was in that Red Room, in that purgative state, I suffered because it pained me to know my sins were causing such agony for the Lord. The pain my sin caused Him was the reason I carried such regret because it was too late for me to do anything to lessen the suffering I caused Him.

These thoughts came to me in an instant, but before I could take my next breath, another wave of spiritual pain crashed against me, submerging me. This wave was more significant than the first and pushed me farther under the surface, causing my body on the kneeler to gasp for air again. The waves came larger and faster, washing over me and driving me under with each subsequent crash.
