“While Jesus was speaking, a woman from the crowd called out and said to him, “Blessed is the womb that carried you and the breasts at which you nursed.” He replied, “Rather, blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it.” —Luke 11:27-28
Mary was indeed blessed to carry and care for Jesus, but without her Fiat, her yes, she would never experience those blessings. How many blessings have I missed because I did not say ‘Yes’ when God asked something of me?
Lord, let me be like your mother, Mary. Let me hear your Word, and always give You my ‘Yes.’ Amen.
Saint Francis Borgia, pray for us.
Jesus, I trust in you.
