Daily Inspiration

“Jesus said to his disciples: “If the world hates you, realize that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, the world would love its own; but because you do not belong to the world, and I have chosen you out of the world, the world hates you. Remember the word I spoke to you, ‘No slave is greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you.” -John 15:18-20

It feels as if Jesus is talking about the state of affairs today. Persecution of Christians is on the rise, and it can be said that the world indeed hates Christ. Does the world love you? Reflect on that for a moment, and if so, are you willing to make a change? We are not of this world; He has called us to be different. We belong to Christ, and we should be loud and proud about that!
