“Jesus said to the crowds, "I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst. But I told you that although you have seen me, you do not believe. Everything that the Father gives me will come to me, and I will not reject anyone who comes to me, because I came down from heaven not to do my own will but the will of the one who sent me. And this is the will of the one who sent me, that I should not lose anything of what he gave me, but that I should raise it on the last day. For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him may have eternal life, and I shall raise him on the last day.”-John 6:35-40
Once again, Jesus teaches the people about His presence in the Holy Eucharist. Christ tells us, “For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him may have eternal life, and I shall raise him on the last day.” Many of us are blessed with faith to believe, yet Christ says we must also see Him. How, then, is it possible for any of us to be saved?
We see Our Lord, Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity in the Eucharist. In the sacrifice of the Mass, we see Christ raised up before us. Again, during Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, Christ is physically present. God gives us magnificent grace and ample opportunity to gaze upon Our Lord, Christ Jesus.
Go to Mass or search for an Adoration Chapel. Follow the will of the Father, as told to us by Jesus, Our Lord. Go, see Him, and believe so that you shall be raised up on the last day.
