June 16, 2023"Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves. For my yoke is easy, and my burden light."-Matthew 11:28-30
If only we knew the ache held in the Heart of our Lord, and how He longs to give us His peace, yet so many reject His saving offer. We make things difficult for ourselves when we tear ourselves away from His loving embrace. If we were to invite Him into our souls, we would see our burdens lighten, because when we let Him in, Jesus lifts our yoke with us. It is only when our heart and His are together, that we will find true rest.
