Daily Inspiration

“John said to Jesus, "Teacher, we saw someone driving out demons in your name, and we tried to prevent him because he does not follow us." Jesus replied, "Do not prevent him. There is no one who performs a mighty deed in my name who can at the same time speak ill of me. For whoever is not against us is for us." -Mark 9:38-40
 
Children of God, followers of Christ, we are all integral cogs in God’s work. In a machine, each small part supports and meshes with the next. If enough parts fail, the machine stops working. The parts of the machine do not consider themselves more integral than the next. They work just as they were designed to, without thought.
 
So must we. God created each for some purpose, none more important than the other. All who work for Christ become a part of his plan of salvation. We must only concern ourselves with the question, “Am I working as God designed me, doing the part He intended for me? Am I against Him or for Him?”
