“Herod the tetrarch heard of the reputation of Jesus and said to his servants, “This man is John the Baptist. He has been raised from the dead; that is why mighty powers are at work in him.” -Matthew 14:1-2
 
Consider Saint John the Baptist's impact on the world: His identity would be confused with Christ's. The same holds true for so many of the saints. Their behavior while on this earth was unlike that of others around them. When people looked at them, they saw Jesus in them. 
 
By the grace of God, each of us is given the same opportunity as the saints to let others not see us but to see Christ in us.
