“Then his disciples asked him what the meaning of this parable might be. He answered, "Knowledge of the mysteries of the Kingdom of God has been granted to you; but to the rest, they are made known through parables so that they may look but not see, and hear but not understand.” Luke 8:10 Sin builds a scale that covers our souls and separates us from God. In that separation comes the loss of intimacy that God desires to share with us. When we open our hearts to Christ and receive Reconciliation, that scale is knocked away, our intimacy returns and our senses are opened to the Holy Trinity. With a clean soul, we see the infinite miracles we are given every day, and we know that through God’s loving touch, we are tethered to Him and His Kingdom.
“You must speak to Jesus, not only with your lips, but also with your heart; actually, on certain occasions, you should speak with only your heart." –Saint Padre Pio
