Daily Inspiration

“Or have you not read in the law that on the sabbath the priests serving in the temple violate the sabbath and are innocent? I say to you, something greater than the temple is here. If you knew what this meant, I desire mercy, not sacrifice, you would not have condemned these innocent men. For the Son of Man is Lord of the sabbath."-Matthew 12:5-8

“Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.”

Jesus tells us repeatedly that our earthly works and actions determine the eternal outcome of our souls. The amount of His mercy and forgiveness for us will be judged by the mercy and forgiveness we gave to each other.  What we give to the Lord is returned to us in multitudes, but if we give nothing, nothing will be returned. Today, give mercy and forgiveness where you would otherwise have not, and see what happens within your soul.
