Daily Inspiration

“Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me; and whoever does not take up his cross and follow after me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.” -Matthew 10:37-38

Today’s Gospel reading reminds us again to orient our life toward God. Order our relationships properly and place God first. God loves us, individually, and personally to a depth we will never understand until the day we meet Him. The ones we love, He loves more than we will ever be capable of. Give them away to the Lord, and have faith that the Father, who is Love, will return them to you. Give this life away, let Christ have it, and watch how He makes your real life truly begin.
