Daily Inspiration

Jesus said to his disciples:  "Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law, until all things have taken place.” -Matthew 5:17-18

If we have truly given our lives to Christ, and have invited Him to dwell within our souls, our perspective on God’s law changes. No longer is it a list of rules that we must obey, but rather it becomes the objective of our desire. We aspire to bring our lives into full compliance because as we do our relationship with the Lord grows even stronger. Living within the law becomes a source of peace and joy for us, and living outside of it becomes repugnant.
