Daily Inspiration

“Then he sat down, called the Twelve, and said to them, “If anyone wishes to be first, he shall be the last of all and the servant of all.” -Mark 9:35

Banish, therefore, from thy heart the distractions of earth and turn thine eyes to spiritual joys, that thou mayest learn at last to repose in the light of the contemplation of God.” –St. Albert the Great

Tomorrow marks the beginning of Lent. Give some thought as to how you will place others first, and serve them. Lent is the perfect time to banish the distractions around us, and turn our focus on the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of our Lord, Jesus.
