“When his parents saw him, they were astonished, and his mother said to him, “Son, why have you done this to us? Your father and I have been looking for you with great anxiety.” And he said to them, “Why were you looking for me? Did you not know that I must be in my Father’s house?” But they did not understand what he said to them. He went down with them and came to Nazareth, and was obedient to them; and his mother kept all these things in her heart.” -Luke 2:48-51

Yesterday, the Scriptures spoke of the Heart of Jesus, and today they speak of the heart of His mother Mary. Mary was the person who knew and loved Christ, more than any other on Earth. Imagine, how she knew Who He was, and why He came. Imagine the miracles she saw, that were never recorded. Now, imagine her heart, as she stood at the foot of the Cross. How she wishes all her children would turn to Him, and love Him as she loves Him. If Jesus is our Brother, then Mary is our Mother, and her heart aches for her children who do not know God. If you are struggling to find Jesus, ask His mother to lead you to Him, and then, be ready to be astonished by our Lord.
