Daily Inspiration

Jesus said to his disciples: “You have heard that it was said, You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your heavenly Father, for he makes his sun rise on the bad and the good, and causes rain to fall on the just and the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what recompense will you have? Do not the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet your brothers and sisters only, what is unusual about that? Do not the pagans do the same? So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect.” -Matthew 5:43-48

I was freed from the ‘Red Room’ after what seemed like years of remorse and regret because I lost God’s touch. Upon my return, I knew several universal truths. One of the most striking was that I no longer had enemies. I saw my fellow man as brother and sister, all of us God’s children. I wanted no other soul to experience the torment I had, so I embarked on this journey to tell this story. There is only One who is perfect, but if we are to be with Him for all eternity, we must put forth our greatest effort and try to be like Jesus the Son has shown us.

Friends, there are still many bugs to work out on this new web platform, and for those who know me, I’m as far from perfect as one could be, especially when dealing with technology. My guess is things will be a little off for a while, but with God’s grace, and those who He has sent to help, we’ll get it figured out.
