“Jesus cried out and said, “Whoever believes in me believes not only in me but also in the one who sent me, and whoever sees me sees the one who sent me. I came into the world as light, so that everyone who believes in me might not remain in darkness. And if anyone hears my words and does not observe them, I do not condemn him, for I did not come to condemn the world but to save the world. Whoever rejects me and does not accept my words has something to judge him: the word that I spoke, it will condemn him on the last day, because I did not speak on my own, but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and speak. And I know that his commandment is eternal life. So what I say, I say as the Father told me.” -John 12:44-50
Once, Jesus allowed me to live in the light of the Holy Spirit. Emanating from that surreal light, I felt the power of the Holy Spirit, the love of the Father, and the mercy of the Son. I felt all of Him touching me at the same moment.
Later, while gazing upon our Lord held within the monstrance, I realized how much that vessel resembled the Holy Spirit. I saw a golden sphere with rays of light streaming from it, and in the center of that light was Christ.
So it would be if we could gaze upon the Holy Trinity. Look into that glorious light, and we see the Holy Spirit. Zoom in closer; we see Christ in the center of that light. Zoom in again, and the Father resides squarely in the center. Zoom further still, and we see again the Holy Spirit. If we continue peering into Him for all of eternity, we witness the never-ending loop: Father, Son, Holy Spirit, Father... Distinct, yet inseparable.
