Thanksgiving Day

“And now, bless the God of all, who has done wondrous things on earth; Who fosters people’s growth from their mother’s womb, and fashions them according to his will! May he grant you joy of heart and may peace abide among you; May his goodness toward us endure in Israel to deliver us in our days.”  -Sirach 50:22-24
 
I am blessed beyond all measure, for I understand that only by the grace of God am I here today, given the joy to speak with you. Everything I have belongs to Him. My talent and treasure are His, loaned to me for His purpose. So it is with each of us.
 
God has placed us here at this moment in time for His reason. Be joyful and glad; the Creator of the universe holds your soul all your days and never lets go. He works to mold and form us every day and loves each of us as if we are the only one ever created.
 
From my family to yours, we wish you a blessed and happy Thanksgiving. May you take time today to ponder the loving intimacy God shares with you. May you count your blessings and realize His greatest blessing: He has given His only begotten Son for you; what more would you ever need?
