“So Jesus cried out in the temple area as he was teaching and said, "You know me and also know where I am from. Yet I did not come on my own, but the one who sent me, whom you do not know, is true. I know him, because I am from him, and he sent me." So they tried to arrest him, but no one laid a hand upon him, because his hour had not yet come.” -John 7:28-30
The mystery of the Holy Trinity is beyond all human comprehension: three persons, yet one God. But when I was in the presence of the Holy Spirit, He raised my intellect so that I could see and understand beyond human reason.
Understanding the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, the one true God, became so simple that even a child could understand. All the mysteries of the faith were untangled in my mind and laid straight so I could understand them.
The how and why of the mysteries of our faith remained in that other world upon my return. What followed me back was the faith to know that I do not need to understand the mysteries to know all the wonders of God are true.
