Daily Inspiration

“When Jesus looked up he saw some wealthy people putting their offerings into the treasury and he noticed a poor widow putting in two small coins. He said, “I tell you truly, this poor widow put in more than all the rest; for those others have all made offerings from their surplus wealth, but she, from her poverty, has offered her whole livelihood.” -Luke 21:1-4
 
Everything you have is given to you by God. What you cherish most belongs to Him. Your spouse is His, given by God for you to care for. Your children and friends are also His; He has placed them in your care. All your earthly treasures are His, born of the talent and skill given to you as a gift from the Creator.
 
God has given us everything we cherish. He asks us to care for these gifts with Him while we are here. When He calls for them back, offer back to God what already belongs to Him and be grateful to have something to give.
