Daily Inspiration

"Jesus summoned his Twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits to drive them out and to cure every disease and every illness. Jesus sent out these Twelve after instructing them thus, "Do not go into pagan territory or enter a Samaritan town. Go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. As you go, make this proclamation: 'The Kingdom of heaven is at hand.'" -Matthew 10:1, 5-7

As Christians, we are members of the Lord’s house, but many are asleep. Many are lukewarm toward the Lord and are in peril of losing their way. It is us, those who burn for the Lord, who must place a spark in our brothers’ and sisters’ hearts to awaken them, so that the Holy Spirit may breathe on that ember and bring that fire to life. But it starts by us placing a spark, and proclaiming the Kingdom.
