“When Jesus came to the territory of the Gadarenes, two demoniacs who were coming from the tombs met him. They were so savage that no one could travel by that road. They cried out, "What have you to do with us, Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the appointed time?” -Matthew 8:28-29
God is the God of all creation, including the fallen angels. Like the angels, He placed divine knowledge of Himself in man as well. Through the spiritual battle, those fallen angels war against God’s children, by corrupting the souls of man. As we sin, a scale or callus builds on our soul. As it builds our soul loses feeling, and eventually we can no longer feel, or know God. But, through God’s providence and as their punishment, He uses demons to demonstrate Christ’s power, and love for us. Rejoice in God when demons attack the hardest because as we walk with Christ toward His kingdom, they remind us we are on the right path. What should concern us is when they are not attacking; it is then that we should reexamine our path.
