Daily Inspiration

Jesus said to his disciples: "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but underneath are ravenous wolves. By their fruits you will know them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Just so, every good tree bears good fruit, and a rotten tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a rotten tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire. So by their fruits you will know them."-Matthew 7:15-20

Now, more than ever are we surrounded by ravenous wolves dressed as sheep. The soul that lives in the righteousness of Christ has been given a grace from God, to see the fruit others produce, good and bad alike. But, not all can see, and many are led away by the wolves. Examine yourself today, and ask, would Jesus call me a sheep or a wolf? By my fruit, how will He know me, and will my actions draw someone closer to Christ or Lead them further away?

“Ah! Those who call evil good, and good evil, who change darkness to light, and light into darkness, who change bitter to sweet, and sweet into bitter!” -Isaiah 5:20
